Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops have become more efficient, passing our tests of cleaning and tackling different types of floors. Select auto vacuum that allow users to select between different modes, self-empty and clean stairs.
A lot of the top models integrate with your smartphone. Check for an application that lets you save maps, create schedules and select cleaning options.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos on the market. It uses lidar for navigation making maps of floors and rooms.
When I tried the S1, it was quick to map the downstairs area, which has laminate flooring in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms, along with medium-pile carpeting and a large area rug. It was able to drive close to walls and even cross raised thresholds without issue. However it was a bit difficult traversing the stairs in one go. The S1 also did a fantastic job of cleaning hard floors with its mop that moved smoothly on its flat side against the floor and lifting itself when it was near carpet or carpet.
The docking station on the S1 automatically empties its trash bin and fills its water tank onboard with clean, ozonated waters prior to each mopping session. The dock adds a deep-cleaning solution to the water. The S1 water tank can hold enough for 12 cleaning sessions, but this will differ dependent on how often you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots, the S1 requires periodic maintenance to keep it working well. For this, you'll need to clean the dirty water tank occasionally to prevent it from clogging. It is also necessary to clean your sensor and swivel wheel frequently to avoid them becoming clogged up with dirt or dust. Overall the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-1 robot mop and vacuum combo from Ecovacs is a powerful option to meet your cleaning requirements. Its robot vacuum has 8700Pa suction power, and comes with a variety of advanced features like voice control and smart path planning that cleans around furniture and avoids obstacles. Its mopping ability is impressive. Rotating mops actually lift the floor and scrub it, rather than just drag a pad across a surface. The mops are also cleaned and dried at the base station, as needed.
auto vacuum cleaner is simple to install and use, with a clear interface that walks you through the procedure. It comes with a rechargeable hand vacuum to reach those areas the robot can't reach as well as two water tanks that are automatically emptied and filled whenever required. It comes with a range of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a great vacuum cleaner. It has a strong suction that can easily remove dust and debris that other robots have trouble with. Its navigation capabilities are pretty good, too, even though it is sometimes hung up on the tiny area mats or rugs that I have in my house (which is something you can mitigate by creating a virtual boundary within the application). Its mopping capabilities are also quite good and include a pair of mop heads that are able to lift and scrub floors, rather than just dragging the pad across it. The mops can also be cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station whenever needed. Mops are also refilled from the top of the base station when needed.
3. Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame launched the luxurious X30 Ultra earlier this year, but their new flagship robot mop and vacuum has more impressive features. It boasts fantastic cleaning results and hands-off maintenance making it a top contender for our top mop and robot vacuum list. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection, and an expanded side brush will ensure an efficient, custom-designed clean is completed.
The X40 Ultra vacuums well, it can remove both large and fine debris. It works equally well on carpets and hard floors. It cleaned the dirtiest areas of our tests with ease, avoiding pet hairs and other mess. The sweeping performance is augmented by a side brush that automatically moves out to tackle difficult-to-reach corners, and an extendable mop pad that can be placed alongside baseboards.
Its navigation system is intelligent it can navigate narrow spaces and climbing stairs without missing a beat. It is able to move from one room to another without needing to reverse the direction. This is beneficial for homes that have multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is less advanced than the ones of other competitors, and leaves a huge margin between obstacles. This can lead to miss-hit spots.
The app features a simple, intuitive interface that should be easy to use for both new and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleanings, adjust suction power and mopping settings and view 3D and 2D maps, and much more. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri which allows you to monitor its progress from anywhere. You can even tap into the X40 Ultra's camera remotely for real-time video monitoring. You'll need a stable Wi-Fi connection in order to operate it via the app as well as external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
A robot vacuum can do a fantastic job of removing dirt and debris, but it can't always be able to reach every bit of dust. It's important to vacuum frequently, every week. This is especially true for dust that collects in corners, on shelves, and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that vacuums and mop, is made to do exactly that. It is easy to connect it to your home Wi-Fi network and it works with Alexa or Apple Siri.
The Q5 is an edgier version of the company's more pricier S-series models, including the flagship Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It uses the same LIDAR mapping sensors, however it's cheaper since it doesn't come with mopping capabilities, and also has plastic body.
The Q5 is one of the most powerful vacuums and mopping machines we've seen at this price, despite not being able to clean your floors. It features a powerful suction of 5500Pa and an automatic emptying system, which means you don't need to manually empty the bin every time. It also has a clever application that lets you choose your floor type and schedule cleanings. It also has an automatic water tank refill and wash system that allows hands-free operation.
Its mops also impress, with a 2700Pa power that can tackle dirt and pet hair on carpets as well as hard floors. The Q5 was among the few robots that we tested that did not have a problem with high-pile area rugs and carpets. However, it could not remove kitty-poop or cable tangles. This isn't surprising because it doesn't include AI-powered obstacle-avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the most quiet robovacs that we have tested, it also has a unique method to map your home. This will allow it to enter corners and tight spaces that other vacuums cannot reach. The K10 Plus also is able to collect more dust in the bin, which means you don't need to empty it as frequently. Additionally, it has washable filters which further reduces the cost of using the device. This robot can detect carpets and increase suction if necessary. The app also lets you to mark off areas that you want it to avoid and is a great feature.
