Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
Robotic vacuum cleaners and mops are the most efficient method of quickly cleaning up mess. The top robot vacuums and mop I test had superior mapping and navigation. They sucked up Cheerios and fake dog turds as well as wires that were strung up.
They're also easy to use with an app that lets you plan cleaning tasks and track what they're doing.
1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra
The Roborock S8 MaxV is the most efficient robot mop and vacuum combination. It is equipped with the latest features. This high-end vacuum is fast and agile and picked up human hair and pet hair almost perfectly in our Debris Pickup Test. It features a sleek and elegant app interface with a miniature map of your home and buttons on the screen to allow manual control.
Another notable characteristic of the S8 is its ability to change its cleaning mode based on dirt levels thanks to its Dirt Detection technology. It will stop and wash its mopping pad more often when it encounters dust while it will prioritize carpeted areas to mop with a damp pad.
The mop roller comes with many other smart features, including a dock that connects to the plumbing system in your home to clean and wash it without you needing to refill the mop. With the built-in voice assistant of the S8 it is possible to use voice commands to specify the cleaning mode of your room and provide granular control using only your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those looking for a hands-free robot vacuum that can also mop. It's among the many combinator robot vacuums that include mopping features that are also offered at a lower price than competitors.
Like most robot vacuums, the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get started. This involves setting up an account with the app and connecting the device to your WiFi network. After that, the machine will begin to vacuum and mop easily.
It is important to remember that the mapping process could take a while and the Yeedi Cube may need a few attempts before it has a good picture of your space. The object detection is also an issue that is hit-and-miss. It was able to maneuver around furniture and other obstacles however, it got stuck on a looser rug with tassels, and required a flip to free itself. These aren't major issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great choice for those in need of an appliance that can do it all.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a three-in one home cleaning solution. Its innovative mopping feature a rotating motion like hand scrubbing which results in floors that are genuinely cleaned, not just being swept. And its detachable stick vacuum is a game changer that allows you to reach spots even a robotic vacuum can't.
The model is basically identical to the well-known X2 Omni but with a slightly higher suction power of 8,700Pa and a few additional smart features. The RGBD sensor upgrade can learn your home and offer an adaptive obstacle avoidance. The app's smart features allow you to customize a number of settings including AI cleanings and virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the mop and vacuum robot return to their charging station at the end of each task to clean their pads and empty the dust bins, and put the debris in a self sealing bag. This keeps the system tidy and also stops allergens from circulating. The battery longevity is sufficient to cover large areas without the need for a recharge during cleaning.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
The Eufy S1 Pro is a high-end robot vacuum and mop model that comes with impressive features at a reasonable price. It is equipped with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power as well as a rotating brush for carpets and hard floors and a great obstacles-avoiding. It also has an innovative mopping technique which uses a rolling device that is continuously misting with water to capture dirt, and then dump it into the dirty water tank.
Its navigation system was efficient. It avoided stairs and navigated close to walls without crashing. However, it had trouble with finely engrained debris and was not always able to get rid of raised thresholds for rooms. Its operating noise level is also high, so it may be less of a set-and-forget model than some.
Like many robotic vacuums and mops the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that allows you to refill its clean water, empty its dustbin and mop pad, and wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance simple and allows the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors on regular schedules. Eufy's app lets you manage all of its functions. It gives you an easy overview and a variety of options for configuration.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is one of the best robot mowers and vacuums available, and it offers impressive mixed vacuuming and mopping performance. The LIDAR mapping sensors can detect furniture legs, obstacles, and other obstacles with a reasonable precision. The app allows users to fine-tune the map coverage, set up no-go zones and alter the cleaning preferences. The Freo's brush is specifically designed to prevent hair from wrapping itself around it. This is an issue for many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads that rotate at 180 RPM, while applying upward pressure of up to 12N. The mopping system is equipped with intelligent carpet detectors, which lift the pads up when they're near soft surfaces to prevent contamination.
The docking station is an automated maintenance center that is able to wash and dry the mops and refills them with detergent and distillate water. The base station features an integrated dust processing system that compacts dust, which allows for seven weeks of uninterrupted maintenance.
6. S10
A few hundred dollars cheaper than the S8 and this robot does an excellent job of keeping my office spotless and also tackle the corners of my tight apartment. It uses laser mapping and a camera to make an image of your area and knows where to stay away from. In addition, unlike other vacuums that have mopping capabilities, it has object/obstacle detection that avoids items such as dog toys and bowls (but not poop!).
Other fantastic features include a self-emptying dustbin, a mop that is self-washing and adjustable for water temperature, and an extended side-reaching brush that is able to reach areas that other mops miss. You can also customize the settings for each room and create cleaning schedules.

It features the same multi-room smart mapping as the S8 and is able to distinguish between laminate and carpets with high-pile rug. And, if you want to cut down on time, it will skip mopping in rooms that aren't soiled. If you have several types of flooring in your house and don't want to invest additional money for a Roborock with advanced mapping capabilities it is a great choice.
7. Q5 Pro
If you're looking to find a multi-functional robot vacuum and mop that is able to manage regular maintenance as well as touch-ups to wet messes, this robot is an excellent option. It has a wide range of features like a self-emptying dustbin, an additional water refill dock, and adjustable settings in the app. It's surprisingly quiet and can move between furniture legs and socks with ease. However, it can't remove knotted rug tassels and it's battery drains slightly quicker than other models we tested in our tests.
The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerful unit that provides powerful suction and convenient automation in a sleek. It didn't perform as well as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our vacuuming tests however, it did very well. It has a variety of cleaning modes, from the low power 'Quiet mode which is suitable for small debris to the powerful "Turbo mode" for carpeted areas. It even has the ability to automate the removal and reattachment of mop pads, and not leave your carpets soaked.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is an excellent robot mop and vacuum that can be used in small areas. It's extremely quiet and speedy and is a great choice for getting around tight spots. It also does a very nice job of getting pet hair out of carpeting.
It's smaller than many of its competitors however, it doesn't compromise any features. It has a good amount of suction power, and it is able to take a picture of each object it picks up (i.e. chew toys, socks) and mark them as 'not found' in the app so that they don't get picked up during future cleanings. Its photos are encrypted and aren't connected to your account.
It is capable of vaccuming, however it isn't quite as efficient at mopping. auto vacuum makes use of disposable wipes that are clipped to the bot's bottom and drags them across the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal models, which come with water reservoirs that automatically wash and reattach their mopheads.
